I am excited to announce that I am running for the Minnesota House of Representatives from Eagan’s district 51B in 2012. I committed to run for state representative because I am proud of Eagan and want to work hard for the things that Minnesotans value the most.
Growing up in Minnesota, the importance of working for the common good has been deeply engrained in me. I was raised in a family that greatly valued public service — three generations of my family have served in elected office at the local and state levels. Unfortunately, I believe Eagan’s legislative representatives have lost the commitment to Minnesota’s rich history of working together to create solutions. We can do better. I ask for your support as I undertake this new challenge in my life.
